The Sky in September, 9:00 p.m. Local Daylight Time

This is what the sky looks like this month for viewers at northern latitudes of 35 to 55 degrees. You will see this view if you look south at 9:00 p.m. Daylight Time. As we get into mid October, you will see the same view at about 8:30 Daylight Time. This screenshot was captured using Starry Night Pro 5 Software. The panorama in the foreground is of Devil's Tower and is a series of pictures stitched together and added to the program by me.

In the coming months, I hope to find time to take my first images of Mars and post them here. I haven't viewed Mars Through a telescope since the opposition of 2003. At that time, I did not have the proper imaging equipment to take pictures of it. I am looking forward to doing so with my Meade LPI Imager.
