Venus' close approach to the Pleiades Star Cluster. April 4th '04

Though Venus and the Pleiades appear close in this view, the light from Venus takes less than 10 minutes to reach earth where as the light reaching us from the Pleiades star cluster is 381 years old or 381 light years away from us.
